PESHAWAR: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Justice Dost Muhammad, Saturday stressed the need for an “egalitarian” education system in the country where the son of a PM and a peon could study together, Geo News reported.

Addressing at a ceremony held here, he said education was the need of the hour, but unfortunately, it had been put on the backburner in Pakistan.

“With the least allocation in the federal budget, how could you expect this neglected department to do what it is supposed to do”, said the Peshawar High Court CJ.

Condemning elitist pedagogy systems, he called upon the government to introduce reforms, which could de-class the education system making sure the same sort of didactics were imparted to masses as well as classes.
