KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party Senator and Federal Minister, Khursheed Shah Sunday said his party intended to hold elections this year and that it would hold consultations in this connection with the coalition partners in August, Geo news reported.
Talking to media men at a seminar on the topic of Ulema's role in eliminating Polio, Khursheed Shah hinted at holding the general elections by November or December this year.
On Waheeda Shah's disqualification, he said the matter had been dealt with in haste and blamed media for the same. "PPP has been facing conspiracies right from the start but now the conspiring elements have begun to become visible," he added.
Shah said those who like to call themselves a 'big political force' and chanting slogans of 'go Zardari go' had themselves been 'taking money from ISI'.
