WASHINGTON: Pakistani Ambassador to Washington, Sherry Rehman, in a letter addressed to the speaker of US house of representatives, expressed Pakistan's grave concern over a US resolution on Balochistan, Geo News reported Sunday.

In the letter, Sherry Rehman referring to the US resolution on Balochistan presented in the US house of representatives last month, said this kind of moves affect Pak-US relations and create an atmosphere of mistrust.

She said the resolution was also in violation of the United Nations' Charter.

Pakistani leaders including Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have repeatedly voiced outrage over Rohrabacher's efforts on Balochistan, amid strong anti-US sentiment in the country.
