LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N's spokesman Pervez Rasheed reacting to the allegations of former Mehran Bank chief Younis Habib against Sharif brothers, said Younis Habib was working for President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported on Sunday.

According to a PML-N statement, Pervez Rasheed termed the allegations of Nawaz Sharif and Shabaz Sharif's taking money from Mehran Bank as fabricated.

Calling Younis Habib as President Zardari's tool, he said the former was leveling allegations against Sharif brothers at the latter's behest.

Pervez Rasheed said Younis Habibi instead of going to the court was hurling allegations before media. The whole nation is very well aware of how Younis Habib became owner of a bank, he said.

He said there was no truth in the allegations of Younis Habib, who was making an effort in vain to mislead the nation.

He said no proof existed that could prove the above allegations.
