MULTAN: South Punjab along with Multan region are facing CNG closure for three days due to which the citizens are facing severe difficulties, Geo News reported Monday.

Following the gas load management program, more than 200 CNG stations were closed in Multan region including Vihari, Chichawatni, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, Lyyah and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Commuters were facing severe problems in carrying out their day-to-day tasks where CNG is closed for three days.

The CNG supply was suspended at 6 am today while the supply would resume on Wednesday at 10 pm.

The public transport owners have increased fares due to CNG suspension and increased petrol prices.

The CNG association has demanded the government to ensure uninterrupted supply in the coming season.
