Zardari takes notice of extortion, directs Malik to reach Khi

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of extortion in Karachi, Geo News reported.

According to the Presidential spokesman, President Zardari while taking notice of the extortion directed Interior Minister Rehman Malik to reach Karachi and work with the Sindh government to halt this menace.

The spokesman said MQM chief Altaf Hussain also brought President’s attention towards extortion incidents in the metropolis.

President said that the reservations of MQM would be redressed. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has also contacted MQM’s Rabita Committee London in this regard.
