Army Chief Gen Kayani leaves for UK on official visit

RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has left for United Kingdom on an official visit.

According to ISPR, the COAS, during the visit, is scheduled to meet senior civil and military leadership of United Kingdom. Discussions will be focused on bilateral relations with emphasis on security and defence aspects.

The COAS was seen off by Lieutenant General Khalid Nawaz Khan, Commander Rawalpindi Corps and other senior military officials.
