KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded) Members of Sindh Assembly have said that unseating of Arbab Ghulam Rahim from the provincial house was an untoward decision having no precedence in the history of Pakistan, Geo News reported.
The PML-Likeminded leaders Abdul Razzaq Rahmo and Arbab Zulfiqar talking to media outside Sindh Assembly said that the indecorous move had exposed the so-called “stalwarts of democracy”.
They said the biased “concerned authorities” always turned a blind eye to a number of PPP parliamentarians who habitually play truant on the pretext of illness.
A case in point was of MPA Lal Chand who seldom attended Assembly sessions owing to his business based in Dubai, but his membership was intact, said they.
They termed the decision as political victimization, which they duly vowed to challenge in the court at the earliest.
