Two dacoits killed in police encounter

KARACHI: Two alleged dacoits were killed in an encounter on Monday night in Ghas Mandi area of the metropolis.

According to the police, the dacoits were residents of Kalakot Lyari.

Talking to Geo news SSP South Naeem Shaikh said that two dacoits Arshad and Riyaz were engaged in dacoity activities in Ghas Mandi area. He said on information police took action and killed both the dacoits in an encounter.

SSP south said that weapons have been recovered from the dacoits' possession. He said cases were also registered against the two alleged dacoits in various police stations.
