ISLAMABAD: JUI-F leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman Saturday said that government, which itself took the popular decision of suspending the supplies to Nato forces deployed in Afghanistan, was now forcing the Parliament to cut off its nose to spite its face by deciding otherwise.
According to a Geo News report, JUI-F leader, who was talking to the participants of a seminar on Shaikh-ul-Hind Maulana Mehmood-ul-Hassan here, said that Jihad was an obligation for all Muslims, but Quraan as well as Hadith both also stressed on judiciousness coupled with deep-sightedness.
Commenting on the ongoing war in Afghanistan, he said it was more about hegemony than fighting terrorism.
