DG KHAN: Taj Muhammad, a resident of Dilana Pati Zai, was subjected to a harsh torture by six men who later chopped of his nose with knives in the name of honour and fled, Geo News reported Sunday.

The attackers suspected that Taj Muhammad stared lecherously at their women, so they warned him not to roam around in the vicinity of their place, said SHO of Gadai police station Rana Muhammad Iqbal.

When Taj Muhammad failed to pay heed to their advice, they badly beat the man before chopping off his nose with multiple strikes of knives and then escaped from the scene.

The victim was shifted to a District Headquarters Hospital.

Gadai police has lodged a case against the accused but no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
