Parliament review to bring transparency to rules of engagement with US

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani says ongoing Parliament review process would bring transparency and credibility to rules of engagement with United States, NATO and ISAF.

Talking to visiting US Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides Wednesday at PM House, Gilani said relations with the US must be based on mutual respect and mutual interest.

He reiterated that the US, NATO and ISAF "must respect sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. We would like to build bilateral relations with the US."
