Dry, hot weather likely in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of Punjab and Islamabad during the next 24 hours.

According to the synoptic situation, a low lies over Balochistan with its trough extending south eastward.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, rain and dust-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara divisions during next 24 hours.

In Sindh, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts during next 24 hours with chances of dust-thunderstorm rain at isolated places.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of Balochistan during next 24 hours, however, there are chances of dust-thunderstorm rain at isolated places of North Balochistan during next 24 hours.

In Kashmir, mainly dry weather expected in most parts during next 24 hours.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, mostly partly cloudy weather expected in most parts of Gilgit -Baltistan during next 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature recorded today was Turbat 43 C.

The maximum temperatures during teh last 24 hours were Islamabad 33 C, Lahore 34 C, Quetta 28 C, Karachi 36 C, Peshawar 33 C, Muzaffarabad 33 C, Gilgit 28 C, Murree 22 C, Multan 36 C, Faisalabad 33 C.
