Altaf appeals for offering prayers for soldiers trapped in avalanche

LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement MQM Chief Altaf Hussain Monday appealed nation to offer special prayers for officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army trapped in avalanche in Siachen.

"Soldiers were braving extreme weather in snow-capped mountains of Himalayan range and risking their lives for protecting borders of the country. Over 199 soldiers were buried under snow and armed forces trying their best to recover them despite fierce weather.

Entire nation was praying for them." He prayed Almighty Allah to keep trapped soldiers in His protection, safety, increase their courage and valour.
