Karachi: 10 gunned down in 12 hours

KARACHI: Ten persons were killed while four others injured in firing incidents in different areas of the metropolis on Friday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, gunmen killed a man near New Sabzi Mandi who was identified as Mohammad Babar while another man was shot dead at Teen Hatti whose body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

A body was found from Memon Goth area of Malir who was killed after being abducted, police told. Unknown men also opened fire in PIB Colony that injured a man.

Orangi Town remained in trouble where six persons were gunned down in different areas.

According to rescue sources, unknown gunmen killed a man in Orangi sector 11 while a body was also found from the same area.

Another man named Zeeshan was also injured when gunmen opened fire while he was standing outside his house in Ram Swami area. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Two men were injured in separate firing incidents in Liaqatabad and Jehangir Road areas.
