DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) minority member Khyber Pukhtunkhaw provincial assembly, Kishore Kumar was arrested from the court room, as the Session Judge, Shahjahan Khan declaring his degree fake sentenced him to one year imprisonment on Monday, Geo News reported.
Sources said that Kishore Kumar had become a minority member provincial assembly after the 2008 elections. Thereafter, his Gomal University B.A. degree found fake by the Election Commission, the case was under hearing for the last three months and finally on Monday Session Judge Shahjahan Khan declaring his degree fake sentenced him to one year imprisonment and a penalty of Rs15000, which led to his arrest from the court room.
Kishore Kumar has filed a petition in the same court praying for bail.
Strict security arrangements were made on this occasion.
