President chairs coalition meeting

KARACHI: A meeting of coalition partners under the chair of President Asif Ali Zardari is underway at the Bilawal House to review law and order situation in Sindh, Geo News reported.

The meeting, which is also attended by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Federal Interior Minister deliberated upon the matters related to the province.

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was represented by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Agha Siraj Durrani and Manzoor Wassan while Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghouri and Raza Haroon attended the meeting from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) side.

Awami National Party's (ANP) Shahi Sayed and Bashir were also present.
