KARACHI: Strongly criticising PML N chief Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has announced that PPP will launch a march towards Lahore if Nawaz Sharif launches a march towards Islamabad.
He was addressing a press conference at the CM House on late Friday night. He said the PML-N is using undemocratic tactics to derail the system and the nation will not accept any undemocratic action.
Qaim said he was the founder member of the committee which constituted the 1973 Constitution and the PML N chief was portraying wrong impression about the Supreme Court verdict in PM Gilani case. Condemning strongly the language being used by the Nawaz-League against the Gilani, the CM said the opposition should approach the SC if they need any interpretation of the verdict.
Qaim said the PML-N chief must know what the Constitution says about the disqualification of PM. He said opposition must not take law into its hand. Democratic system is flourishing in the country and people are proud of the system. He said one brother opposes president and the other targets the PM. He said PPP was targeted by all dictators and their agents but the party always preferred to follow the rules and constitution. Shazia Marri, Murad Ali Shah and Agha Siraj Durrani were also present on the occasion.
