UK: Labour Party leader lauds Muslims for role in economy

GLASGOW: British Labour Party leader Ed Miliband Friday glorified Muslim community’s role in the progress of United Kingdom, Geo News reported.

Talking in Glasgow, he showered Muslims of UK with kudos for their indefatigable efforts in boosting the British economy.

“Muslims have provided richness to British life and Labour Party wants to take them along, said Miliband.

Terming his becoming the first Muslim member of the House of Lords as historic, he also paid generous tribute to Glasgow Labour Party leader Mohammad Sarwar.
