PESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami President, Syed Munawar Hasan said Monday that after his conviction Yousuf Raza Gilani was no longer the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Addressing a rally at the Jamrud Sports Stadium, Hasan said that since Gilani had served his sentence in the Supreme Court he did not have the right to an appeal.

Hasan further said that the PPP had always ignored Supreme Court orders and now the people would have to come onto the streets to ensure that the court’s orders were implemented.

Hasan added that drone attacks in the tribal areas should be stopped and if the Nato Supply was restored there would be a protest from Karachi to Torkham.
