LAHORE: Women workers of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Saturday staged a protest against Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif outside Punjab Assembly before the presentation of provincial Budget for fiscal year 2012-13.

The PPP women workers, with black armbands tied to their arms, gathered around stairs in the Assembly Building and chanted anti-Shahbaz Sharif slogans.

Other members of PPP also joined the protesting bunch of women and raised slogans against the Chief Minister Punjab.

In retaliation, three women activists of Pakistan Muslim League-N reached the spot and chanted 'Go Zardari Go'.
