Rain expected throughout the country

KARACHI: Light rain along with strong winds is expected in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and coastal regions of Sindh Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to the meteorological department, light rainfall and thunderstorm are expected in Malakad, Hazara, Kohat, Peshawar, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Lahore, Sukkur and Larkana in the next 24 hours.

Moreover, several regions of Sindh, Punjaband Balochistan are still experiencing high temperatures.

People are staying indoors due to heat while land sliding caused by heavy rains in other areas has blocked several roads of Rawalpindi and Gilgit.
