Karachi doctors protest Punjab arrests

KARACHI: The young doctors in Karachi observed Black Day against the arrests of the protesting doctors in Lahore, Geo News reported.

The doctors in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) closed Outpatient Department (OPD) and operation theaters for two hours from 12pm to 02pm.

The Sindh chapter of Young Doctors' Association (YDA) demanded the release of 145 doctors arrested across Punjab today. Terming it an un-constitutional step they announced to decide about the future strategy in a meeting scheduled later today.
