SHC grants interim bail to Musa Gilani

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday granted interim protective bail to Ali Musa Gilani, son of former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, for two weeks in the ephedrine quota case.

Ali Musa Gilani held consultations with his lawyers in the Deputy Attorney General’s room and appeared in the SHC along with Prosecutor General Sindh for the hearing of his bail plea.

During the hearing, the counsel Shazia Hinjra sought protective bail for her client, contending that Gilani wants to face the case in relevant court.

The court granted him interim protective bail in exchange of a guarantee bound of Rs 100,000 and ordered him to appear in the Rawalpindi court within 15 days.
