Nawaz committed first CoD breach: Memon

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that President Asif Ali Zardari had handed over all his powers to the Parliament while PML-N President Nawaz Sharif was the one who committed first breach of the Charter of Democracy.

Addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Media Cell here on Saturday, he said that what Mian Nawaz Sharif had said in his London press conference was incorrect.

He alleged that the Punjab government was involved in mega corruption of billions of rupees.

He claimed that as compared to other provinces of Pakistan there was 65 percent more corruption in Punjab. He said 18 portfolios in Punjab were with its Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

Memon said the law and order situation in Punjab was in shambles and in just one year more than 10000 cases of kidnapping were registered. He said his party always respects judiciary. (PPI)
