Eight including policeman killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Eight more people including a policeman lost their lives in ongoing incidents of violence and firing in the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to the details, a policeman was shot dead while another sustained injuries in Pak Colony area.

A man was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Surjani Town L-1 area while another man was killed in Khokhrapar area of Malir.

A dead body was found from Manghopir area while a man who received bullets wound in Nazimabad area succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

A man who was injured in a firing incident in Liaquatabad area also succumbed to wounds in hospital during medical treatment. The deceased has been identified as Akbar Ali who was an employee of Customs.

Another body was found from the jurisdiction of Risala Police station while another man who received bullet wounds succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
