9 killed in Orakzai suicide attack: official

PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber blew himself up at Spin Tal in Orakzai Agency area on Saturday, killing at least 9 people and wounding 16 others, officials said.

The bomber detonated his explosives just outside the compound of anti-Taliban commander Maulana Nabi, in the town of Spin Tal near the Afghan border, senior administration official Zakir Hussain said.

Political officials have started the investigation into the incident.
