QUETTA: The ill-fated Jaafar Express finally reached Quetta at least 35 hours after its scheduled arrival time, Geo News reported.

The Quetta-bound train started its journey from Rawalpindi three days earlier but owing to repeated engine failures it could not reach its destination before a delay of almost one-and-a-half days.

Reportedly Jaafar Express’s locomotive broke down about seven times on the way, which not only held it back from moving forward but also stopped the other trains in their tracks wreaking havoc to passengers at large.

The journey that for some homegoers was supposed to fun turned out to be a nightmare as they had the suffering of their lives while they were on board the unfortunate train.
