Karachi: Gangster who killed 40 arrested in Mauripur

KARACHI: Metropolis cops late Tuesday night claimed to have arrested a hitman who was allegedly wanted for organized crime ranging from armed gang-wars to targeted murders, Geo News reported.

Reportedly the accused, identified as Sayyed Pathan, had no choice but to surrender after law enforces busted into his den in Mauripur area on Hawkesbay Road.

Police also seized firearms including a handgun, a pump-action shotgun, and a 7MM rifle in the raid conducted.

According to police, the arrestee, who belonged to a Lyari gang known as Jabbar Jengo Group, was killer of at least 40 people.

Currently, he was under interrogation, the police further added.
