NA committee dismisses weekly revision of POL prices

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly’s Standing Committee has dismissed the summary seeking a revision of petroleum products’ prices on weekly basis.

The standing committee has instead recommended the restoration of the old policy which was based on POL prices revision on a monthly basis.

The standing committee met here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Tariq Khatak. The meeting reviewed the installation of CNG stations during the banned period.

The Committee’s chairman expressed anger over the absence of the advisor on petroleum and federal secretary.
