Police checkpost attacked in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR: Unidentified armed men attacked a police checkpost in Benazirabad of Luqman area Sunday here, Geo News reported.

According to the police, the accused snatched weapons from two on-duty policemen at the checkpost and escaped from the scene.

The police have launched a search operation throughout the district to apprehend the suspects.
