One dead, 3 hurt in Karachi armed clash

KARACHI: One person was killed and three others injured as a result of an armed clash between two groups in Pirabad area of Karachi west, Geo News reported Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Amir Sardar and has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The incident pushed the area into the grips of terror as shops were closed and traffic disappeared from the roads and streets.

The firing continued in the area till the final reports came in.

The administration has called out Rangers and police to restore order in the area.
