Karachi: Extortionist copped red-handed

KARACHI: Police have arrested an extortionist with a hand-grenade in his possession here, Geo News reported.

According to SP Saddar, Chaudhry Assad, Preedy Police Station cops taking action on a tip-off, successfully apprehended the accused, who goes by the name of Sameer.

Further investigation revealed that the hand grenade, which the accused was carrying, was to be used against a businessman, Mohammad Shafi, who had refused to cough out extortion money worth Rs1 million.
