US acting envoy Hoagland meets Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: US acting envoy to Pakistan Richard Hoagland met PML-N President Nawaz Sharif to discuss issues relating enhancement of bilateral relationship and investment.

According to the statement issued by PML-N here on Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader in the Senate Ishaq Dar was also present in the meeting.

The meeting also discussed political situation in the country.

Nawaz Sharif said that US investors have huge opportunities to invest in Pakistan and specifically in Punjab. US trade in Pakistan could help strengthening friendship between the two countries, he added.
