KARACHI: Four men were gunned down including a political activist in Karachi while a woman’s body was also recovered on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to the police, unidentified assailants shot and killed a political worker in Moinabad who was later identified as Khalid. The incident sparked tension in the area, as unknown armed men resorted to aerial firing and got the shops and markets closed.

A city warden identified as Nasir Shoukat was killed outside his house in North Karachi sector 5-J.

A man named Umair, who sustained injuries in a firing incident in Model Colony and was undergoing medical treatment, expired while a dead body of a woman was found abandoned in Orangi Town.

A youth identified as Saqib who was under treatment at a hospital after receiving bullet wounds by armed attackers in Martin Quarters two days ago also breathed his last.
