PML-N has not responded to commission’s invitation: Babar

ISLAMABAD: The head of the Parliamentary Commission for the formation of new provinces (PCNP), Farhatullah Babar said Wednesday that the PML-N had not responded to commission’s invitation.

Speaking to the media, Babar said the issue of the Potohar province was not within the jurisdiction of the commission.

ANP leader, Haji Adeel was critical of the PML-N’s stance to boycott meetings of the commission. Adeel said it made no difference if the PML-N attended the meetings or not, calling Chaudhry Nisar the friendliest opposition leader.

Meanwhile Deputy Speaker, Faisal Karim Kundi also expressed his desire to attend meetings of the commission.
