Peshawar: Cops put 17 outlaws behind bars

PESHAWAR: A crackdown on criminals is in full swing here in Peshawar, Geo News reported Friday.

The police have so far arrested at least 17 proclaimed offenders after an operation in Nasir Bagh area.

According to SHO Nasir Bagh Police Station, Sabz Ali Khan, these felons were wanted for offenses ranging from murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, etc.

He further added that police had recovered 13 pistols, three Kalashnikov and 260 bullets while ten bottles of liquor, a kilogram of heroin and five kilograms of other substances of abuse.
