ISLAMABAD: Tarbela and Mangla Dams usable water reserves have surged to 9.967 million acre feet (MAF), Geo News reported.

Flood Forecasting Division said that water level in Mangla Dam was recorded at 1186.40 feet, where water inflow stood at 35,069 cusecs and discharge at 12,000 cusecs.

On the other hand, water level in Tarbela Dam was stood at 1546.40 feet, where water inflow recorded at 1, 69,100 cusecs and discharge at 1,39,800 cusecs.

Flood Forecasting Division further said that usable water reserves in both the Dams have surged to 9.967 MAF, following the recent rains in the country.
