ISLAMABAD: The Metreological Department has predicted that most parts of the country including Karachi are expected to receive more showers in the next two days.

According to the MET Department these rains may trigger flash floods in southern Punjab, upper Sindh and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Low air pressure is expected to enter Pakistan during next 12 hours which may cause heavy downpours in southern Punjab, upper Sindh, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northeastern Balochistan during the next 48 hours.

The Met Department warned massive rainfall may lead to flooding of rivers and streams in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sindh's Sukkur and Larkana, Balochistan's Zhob, Sibbi and Naseerabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Kohat and Bannu.
