LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced to dispatch relief goods worth Rs100 million for the rain-affected people in Sindh, on the directive of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif.
According to a statement issued here, Nawaz Sharif directed Shahbaz Sharif to help not only the victims of havoc wreaked by rains in Punjab but also in Sindh.
Expressing grief over the devastations caused by widespread rains, he said the PML-N stood with the flood-affectees of the Punjab as well as Sindh. No efforts will be spared to extend relief to the victims, he added.
CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also sympathized with the rain and flood-hit people who lost their loved ones in the stormy downpours and flash floods in Punjab and Sindh provinces.
He announced to send, in the first phase, succour worth Rs100 million to the rain-affectees of Sindh.
