LAHORE: Fire erupted in a commercial centre of Azam Cloth market that gutted cloths worth millions of rupees Saturday morning here, Geo News reported.
Rescue officials said that a fire erupted in a three-storey commercial centre located in Pakistan Cloth Market this morning, which soon engulfed the shops and warehouses on the two floors gutting cloths worth million of rupees.
Rescue team reaching the scene in time controlled the fire. The reason of catching fire could not be known immediately.
