HYDERABAD: Federal Minister for Political Affairs Maula Bux Chandio Saturday said that President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) temporarily put behind the assassination of Benazir Bhutto for the sake of ensuring Pakistan's sovereignty.
Addressing the third CNG Convention here, Chandio however added that Benazir Bhutto's can never be forgotten. "The same elements are involved in her murder that were responsible for Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's killing," he continued.
Criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif, the PPP leader taunted the former by saying: "Has Nawaz Sharif opened an orphanage or Edhi Foundation (like institution) that he has now started making queries about income and expenses."
He said it is not in Nawaz Sharif's fate to become a Bhutto like leader.
Referring to the Karachi fire incident, he said the government will take action on it in accordance with the set procedure.
