No u-turn on Swiss letter issue, says Kaira

LALA MUSA: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Qamar uz Zaman Kaira has said that government took no u-turn regarding the issue of writing the letter to Swiss authorities.

Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, the information minister said that the federation had reservations over writing the letter to Swiss authorities.

He said that court removed their reservations by saying Asif Ali Zardari was its President and that it didn’t want reopening of the cases against the President.

Kaira said that the government has no has reservations over writing the letter.

He praised former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, saying that he led the government in difficult situation.
