MALDIVES: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday said the negative elements will not be allowed to create a rift in relations between Pakistan and India, adding the process of bilateral talks should continue.

Talking to media persons following his meeting with Indian counterpart Shushil Kumar Shinde, Rehman Malik called for holding a Pak-India conference with an aim to resolve bilateral issues.

He said a positive feedback has come from international community in connection with the Pak-India bilateral talks.

Indian Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde on the occasion underscored need for joint efforts by the two nations for elimination of terrorism from the region.

Describing the blasphemous film made in the US as shocking, Shinde said he would put his support behind introduction of an international law for putting a curb on such incidents in future.
