ISLAMABAD: The 9th session of Pak-Saudi Joint Ministerial Commission meeting will be held here today (Wednesday).

The meeting will be Co-chaired by Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim, Senior Minister for Commerce, and Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabeea, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Kingdom of Royal Saudi Arabia.

Both the sides during the meeting are likely to discuss various avenues of cooperation in the fields including trade , agriculture ,investment, power and energy and bilateral cooperation, EAD sources said.

They added that there would be three technical working groups after the inaugural ceremony.

The first technical session will discuss Commerce, banking, finance, industry and investment sectors.

The second group will discuss power,energy,petroleum, and infrastructure while the third technical group will discuss human resource development, education ,media, culture and security.

Both the sides at the conclusion of one day session will also sign agreements on the above mentioned fields between the two brotherly countries.

Senior Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim and visiting Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabeea, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Kingdom of Royal Saudi Arabia would also attend the concluding ceremony. (APP)
