Attempt to smuggle 25kg heroin to UK foiled

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 25 kilograms of heroin from the cargo of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight at the Benazir Bhutto International airport on Saturday while two suspects were also arrested, Geo News reported.

According to ANF sources, a bid to export heroin to London was busted when the ANF officials seized 25 kilograms of heroin from the domestic cargo of a London-bound PIA flight today.

The officials arrested two suspects and initiated investigation.
