Hub: Road mishap leaves five dead

HUB: A speeding jeep Sunday ran down two motorcycles killing at least five people here, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports the deadly roadside mishap came to pass on RCD Highway.

The police said that motorcycles collided head on with a jeep coming from the opposite side.

Five persons, including a woman, were killed and four others injured.

The rescue teams shifted the dead and the injured to hospital.

The dead were identified as Mama Abbas, Sajid, Muhammad Ramazan, Hoshap and Sitara Bibi while the injured included Liaquat, Jamil Abbas, Amir Bakhsh and Pehlwan.

The bodies of the dead were handed over to the heirs while the injured were referred to a Karachi-based hospital.
