ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice (CJ) Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry on Monday met a delegation of Indian lawyers and said that India and Pakistan can learn and benefit from each other’s laws reported Geo News.

In a meeting with a delegation of Indian lawyers led by Dr.Udesh Agarwal, the CJ said that lawyers of both the countries play a vital role in creating a peaceful atmosphere and assure that an environment of trust is maintained.

He also said that the bar associations of both the countries have played an important role in creating awareness about basic rights and raising key national issues.

He further said that the laws of the 2 countries were pretty similar and we can make them beneficial for each other.
