Drone attacks against Pak sovereignty: Shahbaz

LONDON: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday termed the US drone strikes against the sovereignty of Pakistan, saying innocent people were falling prey to these attacks.

He said this during a meeting with UK Home Secretary Theresa May.

Shahbaz Sharif said innocent people were being killed in terror attacks in Pakistan while drone strikes were also shedding the blood of innocents.

He said although the Punjab government had refused to accept foreign aid since May 2011, the uplift projects were being executed successfully in the province.
