FM Hina Rabbani Khar condemns Syrian shelling on Turkish town

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar Thursday condoled with her Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoglum the deaths of innocents Turks, who were killed by Syrian forces shelling on a Turkish border village, Geo News reported.

Expressing grief over the loss of lives, Hina Rabbani Khar decried Syria's unprovoked bombing on Turkish village.

Khar said that Pakistan fully supported the territorial integrity of Turkey.

Earlier, a mortar round fired from Syria landed in the center of a Turkish border town, killing as many as five people.

A six-year-old child was also among the dead in the town of Akcakale.
